KnowMood support
A little help,
when you need it.
Getting started, keeping your records, and making KnowMood part of your day.
Recording & reflection
Can I check in more than once a day?
Yes. Each check-in can keep its own mood, time, and optional details.
Do I need to fill in every field?
No. Choose a mood and keep only the details you want to add.
What is a follow-up?
A later note connected to an original check-in. It can describe what you tried and include optional overall feedback.
What does Look back do?
It helps you revisit a mood or feeling and find original records with their context.
Records & backup
Where are my mood records stored?
KnowMood saves records locally and offers optional iCloud backup. See the Privacy Policy for the full account of app data handling.
Is iCloud backup the same as live sync?
No. Backup should not be described as real-time cross-device synchronization. Review the app’s backup and restore choices carefully before replacing records.
How can I get help with a backup problem?
Use the support contact available in the app or its current App Store listing. Include your app version and the step that failed. Do not include private journal entries.
Widgets & purchases
How do I add a widget?
Open your device’s Home Screen widget gallery, find KnowMood, select an available size, and add it. Visit the Widgets page for more detail.
Why hasn’t my widget refreshed yet?
iOS controls widget scheduling. Open KnowMood to check that your record was saved, and confirm the widget is configured for the view you expect.
Does KnowMood offer in-app purchases?
Yes. Check the current App Store listing and the app for available options and prices.
Where can I manage an Apple subscription?
Open the subscriptions section of your Apple account settings. Deleting an app does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Getting more from KnowMood
How is energy different from mood?
Mood describes how you feel. Energy describes how much energy you have. A good mood can come with low energy, so KnowMood records them separately.
Can I use KnowMood without cycle tracking?
Yes. Cycle is optional. You can use check-ins, your journal, and other mood views without recording period dates.
How can I remember to check in?
Open Me → Daily Reminder in KnowMood to choose your reminder. If it does not appear, check that notifications are allowed in your device settings.
What is Go deeper?
Optional Feelings, Life, and Needs add context to a mood check-in. You can keep a quick record without completing them.
How do I find what helped before?
Use Look back to choose a mood or feeling, then turn on Marked helpful. Open the matching check-ins to read their follow-ups.
Which chart should I start with?
Start with Mood Trend for change over time or Mood Mix for the balance of moods. Use Daily Life for context and Look back for the moments behind a recurring feeling.
Why is a day empty in my calendar?
There are no check-ins recorded for that day. An empty day is not assigned a mood.
Is KnowMood a medical tool?
KnowMood supports personal recording and reflection. It does not diagnose conditions, provide treatment, or establish what caused a feeling.
Still need a hand?
Open KnowMood’s support option in the app, or use App Support on its App Store page. Include your device, system version, app version, and a short description of what happened.
